New Hogan Reservoir:
New Hogan
Reservoir, a 4,400 surface acre lake, was created in 1964 with the
completion of New Hogan Dam. New Hogan Reservoir has a storage
capacity of up to 317,000 acre-feet at gross pool. When full, the
lake has 50 miles of shoreline and extends nearly 8 miles upstream to
the confluence of the north and south forks of the Calaveras River.
